In our work as psychotherapists, no matter how seasoned and experienced we are, we all run into those tough cases where we need someone to help figure out the next steps to best help our clients. Clinical consultation allows counselors to work together to reach an ethical decision to ensure the best interest of the client is maintained and services are rendered in accordance with the ACA Code of Ethics. Furthermore, sometimes seasoned professionals lose sight of what connected them to the helping field and as an advocate for the profession I take a personal interest in ensuring to restore the connection by providing culturally sensitive assistance and ethical services.
Acceptance in Abundance also offers an Employee/Employer satisfaction strengthening class to assist with building relationships and boosting morale within the workplace. It is a two-hour class to assist individuals in building healthy working relationships, decrease worker anxiety, and improve employee/employer morale. It is encouraged to be implemented during employee onboarding whereas can be implemented at any time.
